Here is the fruit of a Rose or Rosehip. I found it on the way to the train station this evening.

I love the crunch these leaves make when you stand on them.

Peeking at a petal pattern.

I know I have put Michaelmus Daisies in here a million times now but I just can't help it. They are so photogenic.

As Englishness goes this is pretty up there. A fresh beautiful Rose with a perfect lawn behind it.

This Dalia reminds me of a cycle helmet cover I made. I bought lots of fabric flowers which looked like this and sewed them onto the hat for a sponsored cycle ride.

When I bought Marigold seeds I found out that there are two completely different looking Marigolds. I learnt that there's a closed variety like this one and the open variety which I was more familiar with.

I found a Cornflower. What an exotic looking flower it is.

I like this red and orange combination.

September has been mild this year so there are lots more bright and summery flowers around to enjoy.

Today I walked a different way back from my pilates lesson which meant I found a pretty new garden which had this beautiful Dalia in it.

It was dark and rainy when I spotted these violet blooms in a large flower bed at St Paul's Station. Look how radiant and fresh they are!

This hedge interested me as it made me realise that a hedges can have completely different structures. This one has lots of long curved branches covered in little leaves.

This Virginia Creaper was looking pretty spectacular today. I stopped Off on my cycle path home especially to photograph it.

We went for a pub lunch this Sunday and these flowers were on our table.

The transparency of these seedpods makes this Lunaria fun to photograph.
