This Dandylion on the grass would make a great diptych with the Conker which I found yesterday.

There is definitely a reason why children love Conkers. What gorgeous things they are.

Autumn is on it's way. There are more neutral colours which mean you have to look a little harder to find great inspiration like these flowers on the meadow. They are pretty gothic!

Cyclamen are inspiring without flowers too.
9th September
cyclamen making shapes with their petals.

This Crysanthemum was in a flower pot outside someone's house. I always appreciate the flowers that someone has grown, looked after and displayed for the public as well as themselves.
5th September
This Willow tree presented me with an fun vertical line texture. I really enjoyed the way the branches flowed in the wind too.
4th September
I must have photographed this wonderful hedge of Hydrangia four times a year for about four years now. I am really grateful to the person who planted it and maintained it.
3rd September
The Orange of the berries on this Pyracantha look great with the blue of this fence. Orange and blue are complimentary colours so the blue makes the orange colour pop.
2nd September
Today I found these bright Begonia in hanging baskets.
1st September
Black chillies. Perfect for a gothic garden.

Echinacea with a sprinkling of fairy dust.

This Dianthus makes me think of 1980's bunches of flowers with gypsophila.
29th August
I really like this combination of leaves.
28th August
Today has been hot and sunny. This Sunflower although slightly wilted now, has clearly been enjoying this summer and grown far taller than average. It's about 9' high!
