This tree bark makes me think how camouflage prints for army wear may have been inspired by the natural patterns on tree trunks.

Being a big fan of Gardeners World I have learn a few important rules of gardening. One of them is undulation and here we have a great example of this.

Here's another natural pattern. Ivy inspires me to do multipal methods of line drawing. The natural shapes and outlines of this photo offer endless designs.

I found this in a front garden boarder near our home. I have never seen anything like it before. It looks like it originates from somewhere ht.

The grass is beginning to grow faster now. This Lawn on the grounds around the University of Greenwich had been freshly mowed. Cut grass is perhaps my favourite smell. Such a fresh, clean scent. It makes me think of happy summers outside in the sun.

This is a fantastic spring bulb display that I found in a front garden on my way back from work. Blue Hyasinths are my favourite because the flowers of one bulb blend from blue to indigo and violet.
